The glass-lined equipment is made by coating the high silicon content enamel to the surfaces of metal body and thenfiring them at high temperature(900º C) in order to achieve a high adhesive strength of the steel basic body. The equipment, therefore, has dual advantages of chemical stability similar to glass and high strength as metal.
Substitute stainless steel and nonferrous metal equipment, the glass-lined equipment are widely used in the processes such as reaction, evaporation ect, organic synthesis, petroleum, food, defence as well as in scientific reseach.
Corrasive resistance stability: Very high corrasive resistance against inorganic acid, organic acid, organic solvent with different concentration and weak base.
Resistance to impact: Resistance to impact is 220× 1/103J. Be careful, not to hit the glass lining with hard objects during operation.
Insulation performance: The enamel surface has been strictly tested at 2000V.
Thermal shock resistance: Resistance to sudden cooling 110º C, resistance to sudden heating 120º C.
